Hampton Manor What We’ve Been Up To

Stay Connected During COVID-19

A Hampton Manor Corona Virus Update:

As the nation continues to watch the ebb and flow of COVID-19, we know that emotions are running high. But, we want to assure you that your loved ones are in good hands!

Our company adopted the policy of the CDC and has been adhering to it strictly for more than three months now. This includes face masks worn by employees at all times, proper social distancing measures for residents, strict quarantines for residents who have to leave the community, and increased cleaning measures to ensure a safe environment.

Unfortunately this also includes a strict no visitor policy.

However, we are proud to say that these strict guidelines have resulted in not a single resident infected with the virus! Everyone is safe and as healthy as can be.

Per White House and Florida orders, assisted living homes will begin opening to the public in the third phase of reopening. Hampton Manor has, of course, also adopted this policy and no visitors will be allowed until that time. Given the uncertainty of this pandemic, we do not anticipate phase 3 coming anytime soon; but we are hopeful.

We know that being apart must be impossibly hard, as you long to see your loved ones during these precarious times. However, we find comfort in the knowledge that our residents are all safe and healthy. But we know that our residents miss you!

To help you stay connected with your loved ones, here are a few ways that you can send your love and support without physically being there:

Phone Calls & FaceTime

Our residents LOVE to hear from you, call as much as possible! Our activities directors are flexible and available for FaceTimes to celebrate special occasions.

We know that seeing your loved one face to face provides reassurance and comfort that a phone call cannot, so video chatting is a perfect way to stay connected.

Send a Surprise

We were overwhelmed with love on Mother’s Day with all of the flowers, cards, and treats that our residents received. It was a wonderful treat, keep them coming!

A few loving words or a fun surprise can lift your loved ones spirits during these lonely times. Father’s Day is right around the corner, and we know that you wish you were here; but you can still send your love from afar!

Send a Letters and Photos

We know that things can be pretty busy right now, so a phone call might not always work out. However, you can send a letter to keep your loved one up to date on whats going on, and make sure they know you’re all right!

We also recommend sending photos so that our residents can surround themselves with their family and friends, even though they cant physically see them.

Follow our Social Media

You can follow our Facebook account ‘Hampton Manor Assisted Living’ for updates on all the happening of Hampton Manor. This page features posts from all three sites, so you’re sure to find a sneak peak at your loved one there!

We frequently post photos and videos of the daily activities, employees of the month, special messages from our residents, and special events we host! In addition, we also include the activities calendars so that you can stay up to date on what your loved ones are doing!

We hope that some of these ideas provide you comfort during these trying times. We miss having our visitors, and we know our residents do too!

Stay safe and healthy,

We hope to see you soon!
